More than Numbers

In 1997 Adam Anderson took his first job in the world of finance. Throughout the next thirteen years, Adam took note of the way things were typically done in the industry—and some things he wanted to do differently. In 2010, he created WealthGuard Advisors, Inc. (“WGA”)In 2018, WealthGuard Advisors A changed from working under a broker-dealer to being a Registered Investment Advisor.  Given the above, Adam has extensive experience as an investment advisor representative

But that’s not all Adam is. He’s also a trusted citizen of El Dorado County. Adam was recently sworn in as Vice President of the EDC Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is committed to helping local businesses and the community flourish. He volunteers his time at the EDC jail, teaching the Find a Job class to inmates.

Adam also has a fun and adventurous side. An avid kayaker, he has paddled in places as far away as Ecuador and New Zealand. A little closer to home, you might find Adam—an experienced whitewater rafter—guiding people around Gunsight Rock on a trip down the American River. It’s not too far off from his day job, really. Adam can advise rafters on the risks of the river almost as adeptly as he can walk clients through the risks of various financial investment options.

It’s All About You

At WealthGuard Advisors, Inc., we understand that, like Adam, there is more to you than your financial assets. You are more than the numbers in your investment accounts. You have a job, family, hobbies, and dreams. We take the time to get to know you—your interests, your plans, your concerns, your goals—so that we can better serve your individual financial needs. And because we manage your investments in-house rather than using a third-party investment firm, we are better able to make sure that your financial plans match up with who you are.

The relationship between client and investment advisor representative is important. We recognize that you are entrusting us to help you make important decisions. We also know that navigating finances can be stressful for individuals and family relationships. You deserve someone who will truly listen to your hopes and concerns. When you have questions, you deserve someone who will take the time to explain all the ins and outs of investments. You deserve someone who will set aside the finance-speak and be sure you understand before moving on.

It Is Personal

At WGA, we will listen to your goals and dreams. We will work with you to identify a level of risk you are comfortable with. Then we will provide you with investment strategies to help you work toward the realization of your goals within your comfort zone. We will be there every step of the way to update you with detailed reports on your investments. We are accountable to you. Although it’s not just about numbers, we know that the numbers do matter to you, too. That is why you can count on us for transparency about our fees and costs.

We’ve all heard someone quip, “It’s not personal, it’s business.” But it is personal. Your money is more than numbers on a page. The way you choose to handle that money can help move you closer to your personal goals and dreams—or it can draw you away from them. At WGA, we understand that it is personal. And we want to work alongside you to create financial and investment plans that will move you in the right direction.

I help individual investors build and protect their wealth.
